AngelNation (previously enkElination) was formed in November 2011 by Elina Siirala. A classically trained former opera singer from Finland, she moved to London in 2008 and fell in love with the power of rock and metal.

After playing numerous live shows in and around London, the band released their debut album ‘Tears Of Lust’ (2014) which got a glowing reception from both fans and media.

Since then they’ve played festivals such as Bloodstock (UK), Lankafest (Finland) and Brainstorm Festival (NL) amongst others.

The band’s greatly anticipated second album ‘Aeon’ was released in October 2017 via Inner Wound Recordings followed by a tour in Europe. Third album ‘Antares’ is out now!

Living up to its name, metal band AngelNation combines the soaring and mesmeric voice of singer/songwriter Elina Siirala with a full-bodied, artful sound all their own.

Unique in its blend of the delicate and the powerful, AngelNation brings together the modern and retro combined with the untamed expressiveness of metal.

Their music captures stories both earthy and otherworldly; evoking feelings that stay with the listener long after the song has ended.
